Privacy Policy
Introduction
Protecting your personal and professional data is important to us.
Dimetro is a mobile application for professionals in construction, renovation and the technical trades. It allows you to take measurements, organize projects and job sites, communicate with compatible measuring devices and export the information collected.
This privacy policy explains what data may be processed when you use the Dimetro application, for what purpose, how it is protected and what your rights are.
We are committed to complying with the applicable data protection legislation, in particular the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), where these apply.

Data processed by the application
Dimetro only processes the categories of data necessary for its features and the associated services.
3.1. Project and job site data
The application allows you to create and manage various professional information, in particular:
- Names and references of projects or job sites.
- Buildings, floors, rooms and positions.
- Dimensions, readings and measured values.
- Technical information and custom fields.
- Notes, comments and descriptions.
- Photographs attached to projects.
- Information voluntarily entered by the user.
Depending on the information entered, some of this data may contain personal information, such as a client's name or the address of a job site.
The user remains responsible for the information they enter in their projects, in particular where it concerns their own clients or third parties.
3.2. Identification and licence data
Where necessary to activate a licence or to use certain services, Dimetro may process information such as:
- Licence identifier or activation code.
- Licence status and validity.
- Account information, where this feature is offered.
- Technical identifiers needed for activation and to prevent misuse.
This information is used exclusively to manage access to the application's features, ensure it works properly and provide support.
3.3. Technical data
Some technical information may be processed to ensure the compatibility, security and operation of Dimetro, in particular:
- Operating system and version.
- Application version.
- Technical information about connected measuring devices.
- Diagnostic data or error messages, where a diagnostic service is enabled.
The information actually transmitted to external services depends on the technical components built into the application.
Use of Bluetooth
Dimetro uses Bluetooth technology to detect, connect and communicate with compatible measuring instruments.
This feature makes it possible, among other things, to automatically receive the values measured by a measuring device and enter them in the corresponding fields in projects.
Bluetooth access is used for the measuring and connection functions offered by the application.
Depending on the operating system, certain technical permissions may be required to search for nearby devices.
The user can manage Bluetooth permissions in their device settings.
Access to the camera and photo library
Dimetro may ask for permission to use the camera or to access the photo library.
These features make it possible to photograph elements of a job site, to select existing images and to attach them to measurement projects.
These functions are accessed as part of an action by the user or of a feature that requires the corresponding permission.
Dimetro does not need access to all of the user's personal photographs in order to take measurements.
Permissions can be changed or withdrawn at any time in the settings of the phone or tablet.
Location data
Some features may require access to the device's location, in particular to identify or locate a job site, where this feature is available and enabled.
On some Android devices, location-related permissions may also be required for Bluetooth detection, depending on the system version and the connection method used.
Access to the device's position is subject to the operating system's permissions.
Dimetro does not use these permissions to track the user for advertising purposes.
The user can withdraw location permissions at any time in their device settings.
Storage and offline operation
Dimetro is designed to allow measurements to be taken in the field, including in environments where no Internet connection is available.
Working information may be stored locally on the device so that it can be viewed and used.
Some features, such as licence activation or any online services, may require an Internet connection.
Data stored locally remains subject to the protection and backup mechanisms of the device's operating system.
Users are encouraged to regularly make use of the available exports or backups to limit the risk of losing their measurements.
Uninstalling the application or deleting its local data may result in the permanent loss of projects that have not been backed up or exported.
Import, export and sharing of data
Dimetro offers functions to import or export data, in particular in CSV format.
The user can thus retrieve, send or use the information from their projects in other professional tools.
When an export is saved, sent by email or shared through a third-party application, the data concerned is processed in accordance with the settings and privacy terms of the chosen service.
The user decides which information they wish to export and to which recipients they send it.
We recommend checking the content of files before sharing them, in particular where they include information about clients or confidential job sites.

To request the deletion of personal data held by Haymoz Distribution, the user can contact the publisher using the details given in section 2.
Where a user account is offered, the procedures for deleting that account and the associated data are also made available in accordance with the applicable requirements.
